Our Mission — Making PropTech Knowledge Open, Practical, and Useful
Technology is transforming how we design, build, operate, and invest in real estate. But valuable research, technical knowledge, and practical experience are often fragmented across industries and institutions.
ORIL Innovation brings this knowledge together and makes it accessible to the wider PropTech and built environment community. We connect research with real-world challenges, encourage open knowledge exchange, and create opportunities for professionals, researchers, and organizations to collaborate on what comes next.
Three principles:
- Open Science. We publish research results in open access so that knowledge serves the industry rather than staying in a drawer.
- Applied R&D. Our research sits at the intersection of AI, IoT, smart buildings, data infrastructure, and real challenges in the real estate industry.

We review every inquiry directly — there's no formal application process for initial conversations. We consider partnerships with industry associations, universities, research institutes, and PropTech teams.

Yes. We participate in European Commission grant programs such as Horizon Europe as a technology partner in consortia focused on AI, IoT, and energy efficiency in the Built Environment. If you're forming a consortium, we'd be glad to discuss a possible role.
